Nice drawings Tom but I think you can afford to be a bit more animated now. It might be worth thinking of a 'famous action or part of a story' and add/use that in your design ideas. For example, Peter Pan fighting captain hook. What would a Mexican Peter Pan do? Basically, think about a characters abilities / movement and how their 'new' personality changes that (see link below). Also, what the words are implying. For example, the Puppet / Devil might be 'how the devil would puppet's the world'. You don't need to complicate your designs, a simple piece of 'situational' thinking a bit of staging is all you need.
